Lawn Maintenance
The backbone of what we do. Our crew mows on a regular schedule, edges the beds and walkways, trims around trees and posts, and blows the clippings off the hard surfaces so the whole property looks sharp when we leave. We cut at the right height for a Connecticut lawn and the time of year — higher through the summer heat to protect the roots — so your grass stays thick, green and able to crowd out weeds on its own. Spring & Fall Clean-up
New England yards take a beating over the winter and drop a heavy leaf load in the fall, and both need dealing with properly. In spring we clear the beds and lawn of dead growth, winter debris and matted leaves, cut back perennials and get everything breathing again for the growing season. In fall we stay on top of the leaves right through the drop, clearing them off the lawn before they smother and kill the grass underneath. It's the work that makes everything else look good.

Power Seeding
When a lawn has thinned out, gone patchy or taken damage, power seeding is the fix. A slit-seeder cuts shallow grooves and drops seed straight into the soil, so it makes real contact and germinates far better than seed simply thrown on top. It's the most effective way to thicken up a tired lawn or repair bare areas without tearing everything out and starting over. Early fall is prime time for it in Connecticut — warm soil, cooler air and reliable moisture give new grass its best start.

Thatching & Aerating
Over the years a lawn builds up a layer of thatch and the soil packs down hard, especially on our heavier Connecticut ground — and grass roots slowly suffocate. Dethatching pulls out that dead, matted layer, and core aeration pulls thousands of small plugs from the soil to open it back up. Together they let water, air and fertilizer actually reach the roots, and they pair perfectly with overseeding since the fresh seed drops right into the holes. We install dry wells and drainage systems and regrade problem areas to move water where it belongs — away from the house and out of the low spots where it pools and kills the grass.
