About
35+ years on Cheshire lawns.
Blossom View Landscaping is Ron McConnell's owner-operated crew, serving Cheshire, Connecticut and the surrounding towns with full-service lawn care and landscaping.
Blossom View Landscaping has proudly served the Cheshire, Connecticut community for 35-plus years. It's Ron McConnell's crew, and the whole thing is built around a simple idea we've had from the start: offer folks more ways to save time, energy and — most of all — money on keeping their property looking its best.
What sets Blossom View apart is that Ron is the one who shows up. He walks the lawn and beds with you, listens to what you want, and tells you straight what it needs and what it'll cost — the estimate is always free. That personal, owner-operated approach is why homeowners name him by name in their reviews, and why some have stayed with us for twenty years without a single complaint.
We're a full-service landscape business working on both residential and commercial properties, which means one crew handles the whole yard: weekly mowing and edging, spring and fall clean-ups, power seeding, thatching and aerating, fertilizing, fresh mulch beds, new trees and shrubs, paver sidewalks and patios, and dry-well and drainage systems. We work with New England's seasons — different care in April than in October — so the property looks its best all year.
The reviews tell the same story from the customer's side. Ken O'Brien calls the crew “second to none” across “spring clean-up to mowing to leaf clean-up.” Barbara Goetter Gelmetti brought us a project “too big to handle” ourselves and we “nailed it.” Kathleen Mylen-Coulombe had us spread a dump-truck load of mulch and clean the driveway after. Joanne Slot? Twenty years of lawn care, “never a single complaint.”
And we back all of it with an A+ rating from the Better Business Bureau — the top of their scale. Thirty-five years in one town doesn't happen by accident. It happens by doing good work, leaving the property neat, and treating people right, one lawn at a time.

How we work & why it matters
What owner-operated actually means for you.
You deal with the owner
Ron McConnell walks your property himself, tells you straight what it needs, and gives you a free estimate — no call center, no pressure. It's why customers name him personally in their reviews and why some have stayed with us for two decades.
The whole yard, one crew
Full-service means one crew for the whole property — mowing, seasonal clean-ups, seeding and aerating, fertilizing, mulch, new plantings, paver walkways and drainage. You're not juggling five different companies to keep one yard looking right.
Work that's done neat
Homeowners tell us again and again how neat we leave the property — the job done "promptly, neatly, quickly," the driveway swept clean after a mulch delivery. A job isn't finished until the property looks finished.
35+ years and a BBB A+
Three and a half decades caring for Cheshire lawns, and an A+ rating from the Better Business Bureau — the top of their scale. The kind of clean, long track record you want before you let a crew onto your property.
